Quizlet is a program I use to create my own Earth Science games. I have found that finding the perfect review site for science related topics is often a challenge. For this reason, Quizlet works great for me because I can upload the information that connects to my curriculum and then they have games that math, such as flash cards, scatter (matching), and speed race. Students love it because they can also play against the class.

KAHOOT is a fun learning game to review concepts covered in class. You are able to make your own Kahoot games, or select pre-made Kahoots from other users. Kahoot is a game that actively engages students by having multiple timed series of questions. Each player is on their own device playing against each other, with encourages players to do their best in the friendly competition. I love using Kahoot for something as simple as a warm-up or starter question or something more complex like a quiz review.

Study Jams is a Scholastic site that has review videos and quizzes for multiple Science related topics. Students are able to pick the topic, watch the video and then take to quiz to review their understandings.

NASA Games is a site that I found with tons of games related to my Astronomy curriculum. Some of the games are quizzes while others are interactive simulations. I look forward to using this site this school year, as it is very difficult to find science related games for higher level students.

Discovery Kids is an educational and resourceful with lots of variety. This site has videos, activities, and educational games about many different science related topics. I struggle to find Earth Science related gaming sites, but I love using the Volcano Explorer game to teach and review parts of a volcano. Even though some of the games and simulations are at a lower level, this site has a lot to offer in relation to science curriculum.
